I don’t think it was cynicism, Jen – I think it was realism. I had the same issues. And I really think that Toby would’ve been a lot more leery when Lucas “came around”, based on his history.

I liked Toby too, Tam. I think I must be feeling cynical as well because I couldn’t see a way around their problems.

Yep. I just couldn’t see it going on forever. I suppose if he became rich and famous enough Toby could quit, but … One little incident and he swears it will never happen again. Uh huh. Call me cynical. I loved Toby though and wished for his sake it would be true.
