The sequel to Amber Allure’s Best Seller The Art Of The Delaneys…
Liam and the sexy Delaney twins embark on their dating experiment with gusto. Their first encounter at the local cinema proves explosive, but Liam still wants more from them than just hot sex. Luckily so, it appears, do the Delaneys.
With this in mind, the twins whisk him away one weekend for a late-summer picnic in the countryside. Once there, Liam is delighted to see the lengths the Delaneys have gone to in order to provide a romantic dating experience. As their date comes to a climax, however, the twins have a startling proposal.
Is Liam really ready for what they have in mind?
Review:
Dating the Delaneys is the fourth in this highly entertaining m/m/m twincest series by Anne Brooke. At the end of the previous story, The Art of the Delaneys, Johnny and Mark had promised Liam that they wanted to start a relationship with him and that they would try six weeks of dating to see how everything went. This story begins in the middle of their first date – a trip to the cinema to see Four Weddings and a Funeral. The dating is somewhat taken over though by Mark’s inability to keep his hands off Liam leading to what, for me at least, was a mix of a hilarious and cringingly embarrassing scene – embarrassing because of my own bashful feelings for public sex scenes. The story continues with each of the men trying the dating game and failing in a rather amusing fashion.
What I liked most about this story is the way that the different personalities of the brothers are really starting to develop. Mark is his usual hard-nut self, totally in charge of Liam and Johnny, whereas Johnny is the romantic who wants the relationship to work, and as a result gets a little exasperated with Mark’s harder nature. We also get a rather chilling glimpse into the brother’s past and I liked this reminder that Mark and Johnny are not particularly nice men, no matter how much they like Liam.
As with all these Delaney books the sexual tension, is hot, hot, hot and the D/s dynamics just add to the sizzling nature of the sex scenes. Twincest may not be everyone’s cup of tea but I think these stories take a rather gentle approach to the theme and as such may not be so off putting to readers.
The story ends with a surprise which made me snort with laughter and set the scene for the final book in the series. I’m looking forward to seeing Liam get his happy ending with these dangerously sexy brothers but will be sad to see the series over.
If you’ve read and loved the other Delaney stories then this one is a must read. For the rest of you, I highly recommend going to the start of the series with The Delaneys and Me and working your way through to this one. I’ve already read all the stories several times and the series is fast becoming one of my go-to reads when I need something light, sexy and with a touch of humour.
I love this series too, Jen. Liam is a riot, and I wasn’t at all squicked by the twincest vibe (which is very mild, seeing as how Liam remains sandwiched between the twins most of the time)
What’s more surprising is that I actually like the Delaneys, considering what they do for a living. I’m not generally sympathetic towards ruthless criminal overlords
Ugh. I must catch up on these. Maybe I’ll have time over the holidays.
Ooh, thank you so much, Jen! And thank you also for the lovely comments, Josephine & Tam
Liam would send you all a big kiss, but he’s a bit tied up just now … It’s the thought that counts though!!

Great review, Jen! I’m greatly enjoying this Delaneys series. Anne keeps the humor and the sex and the tension of uncertainty perfectly balanced, and Liam has got to have one of the most comical viewpoints ever.
