Siris was being trained to be a pleasure slave, when, on the eve of his auction, his captors are attacked by a band of mercenaries.
Legar, a handsome and noble guard, fights with the leader of the mercenaries, the barbarian Rakurr over Siris. Before they kill each other, though, Siris convinces them to come to a mutually beneficial agreement.
Review:
Jack Greene seems to have a knack for combining erotica and romance that works for me. In this case Siris is preparing for his first time as a pleasure slave where his virginity will be sold to the highest bidder. He’s been practicing some things on the other boys, but his fantasies involve the big men who captured him, and even Legar, one of his guards. However the night of the big auction, the house is attacked by mercenaries and when he’s found by Rakurr, he’s not all that disappointed. The guy fits the bill for his fantasy, however Legar is determined to rescue him, until after a short battle Siris steps in to more or less say “Can’t we all get along?”
Rakurr agrees to take Legar on as Siris’ bodyguard of sorts and they agree to share him, although how exactly this will work no one seems sure. On the journey to Rakurr’s villa, Siris takes great delight in the opportunity to entice the men to talk dirty to him and they all get off without touching. Once they get to the villa, it seems Rakurr and Legar have worked out a plan, since both men want him, they’ll have him together. No, not DP.
Yet.
The whole story has a very light handed touch. It’s not meant to be taken too seriously or literally. It’s rather an amalgam of different fantasy ideas that are about in literature, but I liked that Siris wasn’t any shrinking violet despite his size. He wanted both men and was more than happy to entice them to tell him what they’d do with him and rub off while doing so. The anticipation as they tell him how they will take him that first time, both with different styles/techniques was hot and steamy and their first time where both big men focus on Siris was hot and sexy.
If you are in the mood for something steamy and fun it fits the bill. As I said, it kind of rides that fine line between “Letters to Penthouse” porn and romance with a dash of lightness to make it fun. As long as you take it in the manner it’s intended, it’s an enjoyable read.
Completely agree, and this was one of my favorite of Jack Greene’s.
He has a threesome with neighbours I really enjoyed as well, but if you just sit back and enjoy the read, I quite like his work. A bit of spicy brain-candy.
Yeah, I liked that one too. Plus Lights, Camera, the one about the gay guy working on set with the famous straight actor who needs help in preparing for his role
That one was really sweet too.
I’m obviously way behind in my Jack Greene reading.
Every now and then I find one. I got this one from ARe. They are fun reads when you need a break from more serious stuff.
OK, this sounds good. I haven’t read anything by this author and it sounds like I need to start!
It is fun and a bit of fantasy (not in the sci-fi/fantasy sense) Jen. Great for a quick light snack.
It’s funny in looking at the titles I’ve noticed all the ones I have it’s got a GFY, or more OFY theme. A bit of that gay boy fantasy of turning the straight, or bi boy in their direction.
LOL yeah I can totally see that!
